About Tara
Tara is perfectly content lounging on your lap while she waits for sunnier days. She’s a 5-year-old miniature schnauzer mix who was picked up as a stray, but it's clear she’s had some comforts—she’s house trained, knows basic commands like sit, stay, come, and wait, and feels right at home indoors. Getting her to eat only dog food took some effort, but she’s all in now. Tara enjoys simple pleasures: watching squirrels from the window, hanging out with family, or taking a leisurely stroll. She gets along with respectful children, cats, and dogs, but probably shouldn’t live with small animal pets. When meeting new people, she prefers a soft introduction at her own pace. Tara handled her last grooming session like a pro and will even treat you to a happy dance in the mornings. If you’re looking for an easygoing, cheerful pup with a lot of love to give, Tara is ready to be by your side. Your new best friend is just one click away.
