Meet Autumn, our lovely 4-year-old Australian shepherd currently in foster care. Her foster family affectionately calls her a "sweet potato" because she is friendly, loving, and a bit potato-shaped. While she needs to shed a few pounds, she's content with leisurely strolls. Discovered as a stray, Autumn quickly adapted to her new home. She's both crate and house trained and knows some commands. She's great with other dogs, including a deaf companion, communicating clearly and appropriately with her friends. In her foster home, there’s also a toddler who Autumn tolerates but would likely prefer older kids; she enjoys the quiet company of calm energy. Still, she never turns down cheese from a friendly hand! Autumn is well-behaved in the car, doesn't mind being groomed, and is a model patient at the vet. She loves to lay at your feet, and when her foster mom is busy, she gently places a paw on her lap for some attention.
