Anna, affectionately called Anna Banana, is a spirited Doberman Pinscher with a big presence packed into a smaller frame. At about 3 years old, she came in as a stray but has truly flourished in her foster home. Anna might seem skittish at first, but once comfortable, her affectionate and joyful personality shines through. She thrives on play—fetch, walks, and racing around the yard are her favorites—yet she also values quiet time and often curls up beside her foster mom for a snuggle during a good book. Eager to learn and always ready for a challenge, Anna knows a range of commands and is constantly picking up new behaviors, especially when treats are involved. She’s crate trained, house trained, and regards her kennel as her personal sanctuary. Anna does well around small animals and absolutely adores children and adults she knows, but she still gets cautious in new situations and needs a patient adopter committed to positive reinforcement. Anna has a high prey drive and enjoys the chase, so she requires a secure 6-foot fence and a sturdy collar or slip lead on walks. Chronic allergies are her only health concern, mainly resulting in manageable ear and skin irritations. Through it all, Anna never loses her silly Doberman grin or zest for life.
