Lovely’s story didn’t start gently. When she was found, she was nothing but bones—barely holding on, fighting to survive. But even then, there was something in her that refused to give up. And today, that same little dog is unrecognizable in the best way. Lovely is now healthy, safe, and absolutely thriving. Her body has healed, but more importantly, her spirit has come fully back to life. She is joyful, affectionate, and deeply connected to the people around her. Everything she went through has only made her softer, more loving, and incredibly grateful for every bit of attention she receives. She is the definition of a cuddle bug. Lovely wants to be close to you at all times—curled up on the couch, tucked into bed, or simply resting her head on your lap. She seeks out connection and will gently remind you she’s there if you stop petting her. It’s clear that love is the thing she values most. Lovely is crate trained and has a playful, happy energy, especially when she’s outside. She has a little bounce in her step and a lightness about her that feels hard-earned. She enjoys exploring, soaking up fresh air, and then coming back inside to be right by your side. She does well with other dogs and has been around cats successfully. She would also do wonderfully in a home with children, as she truly lives for attention and human interaction. Lovely is not a complicated dog. She isn’t asking for perfection or anything extravagant. What she wants is simple: a home where she is safe, included, and loved. After everything she has been through, Lovely is ready for her forever. Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
