I need a new home because I was released from a breeder. I am being fostered in St. Louis, MO I am the sweetest Boston terrier. I have slowly warmed up to humans and love to be petted. I will snooze all day in my little bed if you let me. I love to play outside in a yard. I am learning to run and becoming more comfortable walking on grass. I have started to play with dog toys, but still very new to this. I get along with and love other dogs and follow their lead well. I currently live with 3 bostons and a pug and I love all of them. I have had play dates with larger dogs and also get along with them very well. I am learning how to use a bird bell to let my foster mom know I have to potty. I would do best in a quiet home as noises scare me and I cower if startled. I need a family who will be patient with me as I learn how to be a dog. All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption. MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing. MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.
