My name is Lucy. I am 7 years old and weigh 15 pounds. I need a new home because I was released by a breeder. I am being fostered in Des Moines, IA. I am learning that being in a “home” is quite nice. I enjoy snuggling up on my foster parents lap while they watch TV. I am finding that my kennel with fuzzy blankets is very comfortable. I am quiet in the kennel and use the time to rest up for more play time. I have found out that a big kuranda bed with a soft dog bed on top is also very comfortable. I am learning how to play with toys and other dogs. Running around the yard helps me burn off energy and usually leads to a long nap. I am trying to learn that humans can be nice to me. It is best for me to drag a leash around so that I can be picked up without stressing me out. Once picked up, I enjoy being held. I need a family who is patient and willing to work with me to master this house-training thing. Here's a little more about me: Housetrained? Working on it.
