About Haley

Haley has a gentle spirit and an easy charm once she gets to know you. She arrived at Appalachian Great Pyrenees Rescue after her previous guardian, who’d loved and kept her for many years, passed away. At first meeting, Haley is cautious, but she can’t resist someone carrying treats—especially Milk Bones. One of her favorite things is a volunteer who never shows up without a pocketful. After a brief, polite tail wag, Haley becomes all about sneaking her nose into pockets and coaxing out a snack, gathering trust quietly and without rush. She’s an adult Great Pyrenees, likely around six, accustomed to peaceful corners and slow-paced environments. Busy settings and noisy streets make her uneasy; she’s much happier with a fenced yard and quiet walks where she can sniff without hurry. She’s house trained and prefers indoor hours, happiest wherever her people are. Haley shines as an only dog, soaking up undivided attention. Great Pyrenees like Haley thrive with a minimum four-foot fenced yard and a patient adopter who understands the breed’s quirks. Her loyal company and soft presence make her a rewarding companion for the right household. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
