About Malonie
Malonie came to rescue after a case of mistaken identity: she and her mom landed at a Virginia shelter, her paperwork listed her as "Malone"—a boy—until a grooming day revealed otherwise. Renamed Malonie, she's a young Great Pyrenees who was born in spring 2024 and is just past her first birthday. Expect some initial shyness, but she warms up as trust builds. She's known for her pretty, fluffy white coat, which sometimes ends up damp when she tips over the water bucket and tries to hide the evidence. With a bit of drying off and brushing, she bounces right back. Malonie enjoyed time outdoors playing with her friend Simon, who was recently adopted. Now it's her turn to find a family. Malonie requires a securely fenced yard that's at least four feet high, a must for Great Pyrenees. She’s friendly with those she gets to know, loves to play, and will need a family ready for the classic Pyr quirks. Malonie is house trained, spayed, vaccinated, and waiting for her forever home in Richmond, VA. Ready to give this playful girl a fresh start? Your new best friend is just one click away.
