About Wally In Tn

Wally is a big, fluffy, softhearted Pyr boy who is guaranteed to steal your heart the moment he flashes you his famous sit-and-smile! Wally came to us as a stray found roaming in Tennessee, but you'd never know it from his impeccable manners! He is fully housebroken, leash trained, and crate trained, and his trainability is nothing short of fantastic. He keeps a mild activity level and is perfectly happy as a leash-walk-only dog, making him a wonderful companion for a calm, loving household. If you have a fenced yard, a 4-footer is all you need to keep this boy happily at home. When it comes to other animals, Wally is a gentleman through and through. He's wonderful with cats, has been around cows and goats without missing a beat, and while some of the ladies in the dog world may take a little time to warm up to his charms, he always wins them over eventually. He can also thrive as an only dog if that's the right fit. With people, Wally is beyond friendly - whether you're a familiar face or a brand new friend, he is all in on the love. Wally adores being brushed, soaks up every hug, cuddle, and kiss he can get, and his inner rear legs are delightfully ticklish! He'll enthusiastically accept any snacks you're willing to share. Wally would do beautifully with dogs, cats, and kids over 6, though with a little patience and guidance, he'd be a wonderfully gentle companion for younger children too. His calm, joyful, deeply affectionate spirit makes him an especially magical match for a quiet home. Gentle. Happy. Softhearted. Wally is waiting to love you! For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority. Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed.
