About Jessa In La

Say hello to Jessa, a confident, happy-go-lucky Great Pyrenees pup who is ready to bring endless joy and laughter to her forever home! Jessa came to us as a stray alongside her mom and littermates at just five weeks old, and she has blossomed into the most cheerful, well-adjusted pup you could imagine. With her medium-length, irresistibly soft coat and that classic Pyrenees look, she is equal parts fluffball and firecracker! Jessa is bursting with the signature Pyr puppy energy - her days are happily spent running, romping, and gleefully "mauling" her siblings in the best possible way. She loves people and is thrilled meeting new friends of all ages, anyone willing to give her attention. She's been around cats and thinks they make wonderful chase-and-play partners, and she has grown up socializing with over a dozen dogs of all ages. She enjoys pawing at the dirt, and is equally happy indoors or out - a true 50/50 girl! When it comes to personality, Jessa is a classic stubborn-but-lovable Pyr. Tell her "no," and she'll pause, consider your feedback thoughtfully... and then do it again anyway with a grin on her face! She is currently learning her basic commands and making great progress. For treats, this girl has surprisingly refined taste - she absolutely loves apples and bananas! Jessa is a confident, joyful soul who finds the world delightful. Jessa's ideal home is an active family with dogs, cats, and/or kids welcome - she loves them all! She will need a 6-foot securely fenced yard to keep her adventurous spirit safely contained, and a canine brother to play with and help show her the ropes. Everything this girl does is cute and funny, and her future family is going to feel like the luckiest people in the world. Could that be you?! HTTPS://NATIONALPYR.ORG/ADOPTION-APPLICATION/ Due to the high level of interest we can't respond to emails unless an application has been submitted. Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority. Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed.
