Behavior Notes: per volunteer 3/23: Meet Apple This sweet girl is truly as lovely as her name. From the moment I met her, Apple was gentle, trusting, and so easy to be around. She allowed me to leash her up without any hesitation, like she already knew she was safe. And once that kennel door opened... she was ready to go! Apple couldn't get outside fast enough, like she just needed a breath of fresh air and a little freedom. She did pull slightly on the leash at first, but she was very easy to redirect and quickly settled in. What stood out the most was how incredibly gentle and affectionate she is. She has such a soft, loving energy, just happy to be by your side and soak up attention. Apple does have a few minor skin issues, but don't let that fool you, it doesn't slow her down at all. She's still happy, loving, and full of life. With a little TLC, she's going to absolutely thrive. This girl is an angel in every sense of the word and deserves a home where she can feel safe, loved, and cared for the way she deserves If you're looking for a sweet, gentle companion... Apple might just be your perfect match Per ACA 3/23: Easy to leash, came right to the front. Walked nicely on the leash, no pulling. Yes, I handled the dog, sweet gentle. Walked right into kennel and unleashed without issue. Per playgroup 3/22: Steer test: 2/5 with water and 1/5 with can. Ears all the way back and high stiff tail when greetings with another dog. Quick and bouncy moves. Good play pauses.
