About Mantis

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Mantis! Mantis is a sweet 4–5 year old girl who has survived more than any dog should. She came to the rescue starved and fighting for her life, but now she’s ready to leave the past behind and find the loving home she truly deserves. This silly cuddle bug is a wonderful mix of playful and relaxed. Mantis is just as content curling up next to you on the couch as she is heading out for a nice, long walk. If she’s waiting for playtime, you’ll often spot her happily chewing her favorite bones in her crate. Mantis does well with other dogs and prefers slow, proper introductions when meeting new friends. Once she knows everyone is kind, she settles right in and becomes part of the pack! She would thrive in a home with children and playful dogs, but she’d also be perfectly happy soaking up all the love as your one and only. Mantis is seeking a home without cats. After all she’s been through, Mantis deserves a home where she can be safe, loved, and spoiled. She’s ready to brighten your days and fill your heart. Philly Rescue Angels Inc. P.O.
