Sunny, affectionately called Daisy by her foster family, is a 2–4 year-old Goldendoodle with a soft golden coat and an even softer heart. Weighing about 60 pounds, she’s the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. After coming from a neglectful situation, she’s blossomed into a sweet, resilient girl who just wants to be near her people—whether that’s playing fetch (her absolute favorite!) or quietly resting at your feet. Sunny is wonderful with everyone—men, women, kids, dogs, and even cats. She’s house and crate trained, knows basic commands, and is eager to keep learning. She has a higher energy level and needs a home with a fenced yard where she can run and play. While she’d enjoy having a dog companion, she’ll also thrive as the center of attention in an active, loving home. She rides well in the car, but *may* require some coaxing/lifting to get in at first. She’s spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines/rabies, and finishing heartworm recovery. Sunny is still gaining confidence on a leash and around vehicles, so she’ll need a patient adopter who can continue to encourage her and keep her safe. In return, she’ll give you endless love, loyalty, and joy—the kind that only comes from a dog who truly appreciates a second chance! Sunny is presently being fostered in the Easley, SC area. We require a home check and vet references. Therefore you must be a reasonable driving distance from the areas we serve ( Mills River NC / Greenville SC).
