About Lady
Lady is a 60-pound Black Labrador Retriever who lives for adventure and play. She’s spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. Energetic, silly, and always up for a game of frisbee or a ball toss, Lady will keep you laughing and busy. Once she’s burned off energy, she becomes a devoted and affectionate companion who just wants to stay close. Lady gets along well with adults and older kids but has a very high prey drive, so she can’t go to a home with cats or small animals. She’s still learning housebreaking and crate training, but does great on a leash and enjoys car rides. Because of her high energy, she will need a home with a fenced yard and people who can give her plenty of exercise; she’ll get bored and destructive if not kept active. Walks, hikes, or long play sessions are must-haves. Lady is food protective and will need an experienced owner to guide her training. She might do best as the only dog, but with time and structure, could possibly co-exist with a similarly energetic dog. She’s overcome a tough past, but her loving spirit shines through. Lady is fostered near Union, SC, and adopters should live within reasonable driving distance. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
