About Jack
Jack is a 10-year-old Boxer/Labrador Retriever mix, around 50-60 lbs, who checks all the right boxes for a reliable companion. He’s loyal, loving, and always ready to give affection to the people he calls family. Jack is up to date on his vaccines, heartworm negative, and neutered. He’s comfortable around children and has proven to be a trustworthy playmate for kids, making him a natural choice for families. This guy is also housebroken, crate trained, and knows the basics, making the day-to-day stuff straightforward. He does best as the only pet—Jack really wants all the love for himself. He’ll be happiest where he can get the lion’s share of attention, especially with a securely fenced yard for outdoor time. While not always sure of car rides and slow to warm up to new animal friends, he can learn to coexist if introductions are handled patiently. Jack isn’t a fit for first-time pet owners. He needs someone who’s dog-savvy and can offer him clear structure. He’s fostered near Greenville and adoption is limited to folks within reasonable driving distance to Mills River, NC or Greenville, SC. Home checks and vet references are part of the process.
