About Peach

Peach was first seen in January 2024, heavily pregnant and braving the chill of a Chesnee, SC orchard. Disappearing for a time, she found safe haven under a church where she delivered and cared for her seven puppies with unwavering devotion. Every pup found a home, but Peach has held on, watching and waiting for her own turn. This medium-sized, 4-year-old spayed boxer/staffie mix weighs around 50 pounds and has finished her heartworm treatment. Peach is house trained, crate trained, fully vaccinated, and rides calmly in the car. She’s grounded, friendly, and prefers adults and kids—but ask her about other dogs and she’d tell you she’d rather be your only four-legged companion. She’s tolerant with playful, unthreatening pups but won’t back down if challenged. Cats aren’t for her. Peach thrives on playtime, especially if a ball’s involved, and she’s content to quietly hang out between games. She’s currently fostering in Brevard, NC, and adoption is limited to areas near Mills River, NC or Greenville, SC due to home visit requirements. Ready to fall in love?
