Hesperia is one of the few shelters that will proactively reach out to rescue organizations to ask for help for a dog who has run out of time. Being a smaller shelter with little to no foot traffic and a rural shelter, dogs don' t get much time. We always look at that as them really trying to help a really good dog get a second chance. Lovelock was one of three they asked us to help. They didn't come in together, but all are really young in the one year to one-and-a-half-year range. Lovelock was adopted and returned to the shelter after a short period of time. We don't know all the details, but he apparently had an accident in the house while the people were gone to work. Lovelock is super friendly. He is good with other dogs, kids and even cats! He is quite a handsome boy so we are happy to welcome him to the Labradors and Friends family. We don't know too much about Lovelock since he is very new to the rescue, so we will update his bio as we learn more.
