Rescued from the not-so-wonderful conditions of ESLR in Ensenada (not quite Azkaban, but close!), Ron's journey to recovery has been tough, and now he's looking for his forever family to help him embark on a bright new adventure! 🌟 Ron does have some unique needs, as he battles Cerebellar Hypoplasia and Meningoencephalitis, currently undergoing chemotherapy to help improve his health. His hind legs are a bit wobbly, which can make traditional commands like “sit” and jumping onto couches a challenge. He's also somewhat blind and isn't able to receive certain vaccinations, including flea and tick preventatives for now. But don’t worry! This gentle boy is eager to love and be loved, and he promises to bring plenty of joy into your life. 🐾❤️ When he’s not practicing his Quidditch moves or deep in the study of Herbology, you can find Ron happily chewing on squeaky toys and doing a delightful little hop when it’s mealtime! 🍖🥳 He absolutely adores exploring his surroundings, making sure to get a perfect lay of the land—the more sniffs, the better. With his foster siblings, Ron has shown that he can get along well with other dogs. While he has flashed a couple of excited nips in the past, they were simply his way of saying, "Hey, look at me!" and he's learned manners with his foster family since then. 🤗 Ron thrives on a steady routine and is getting the hang of his crate, bathroom, and leash training. He might take some time to adjust to new surroundings, but isn’t that just part of the magic of finding a new home? He’s not the most hyperactive pooch, but is rather laid-back and content, making him an excellent companion who is simply a joy to be around.
