Loki
AvailableLoki is a young, male, medium-sized Labrador Retriever mix with a striking tricolor (brown, black, and white) coat. He is already neutered and has vaccinations up to date. Loki is house trained and currently staying at The Animal Pad. He requires a bit of special care due to some mobility challenges with his back legs, but he’s adapted well, using a wheelchair for longer distances and managing independently on carpeted surfaces.
About Loki
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Meet Loki—the cutest little villain around! Like his Marvel namesake, Loki is full of charm and playful energy. At about 2.5 years old and weighing in around 44 pounds, this neutered Labrador Retriever mix will capture your heart with his big personality and loving spirit. Rescued as a stray, Loki amazed his rescuers with his determination; though his back legs don't work perfectly, he's made incredible progress and can stand and walk on his own. He just needs some assistance with stairs, getting into his wheelchair, and hopping in and out of vehicles, since jumping isn't his thing at the moment. Loki's social side shines especially around other dogs—he greets fellow pups with a cheerful bark and wins everyone over with his outgoing nature. With plenty of puppy-like zest, he delights in toys, chewing bones, and being the most loyal sidekick you could ask for. While he's never met a cat, his friendly temperament suggests he'd do his best to make any new friends. Above all, Loki loves receiving attention and affection from his humans, showing off his soft and loving side (don't let the "villain" name fool you). This well-behaved boy is crate-trained, house trained, and leash trained for shorter walks. He enjoys exploring and staying active, yet knows how to chill and keep you company at home. Loki is also fantastic with basic obedience, making him a joy to have around. He'll thrive in an active home where he can be the star, or with a kind, patient canine companion. On carpet or surfaces with traction, Loki can get around just fine by scooting and pulling himself up when needed. With a heart as big as his personality, he's waiting to rule your world with love and laughter. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
