About Lincoln
Meet Lincoln, a large and affectionate blue Doberman with cropped ears and a docked tail, tipping the scale at about 85 pounds. At one year old, he's already showing the hallmark Doberman blend of energy, intelligence, and loyalty. Lincoln craves companionship and attention, but he’s good at keeping himself busy with toys or a sturdy chew bone when needed. His favorite thing? Tearing around the yard after his Jolly Ball—he’s always up for an outdoor game. Lincoln is house-trained and crate-trained, and sleeps soundly in his crate at night. He’s adapting well to home routines and handles being left unsupervised by settling in his crate. With an Easy Walk harness, Lincoln walks smoothly on the leash, and he already knows “sit,” “paw,” and “crate.” Greeting people can still get him a little too excited, but he’s making progress in training. Lincoln enjoys doggy daycare and gets along with other dogs in a controlled off-leash setting, though he may get vocal on leash. He’ll do best with a family that enjoys keeping active and can offer continued structure, exercise, and training. In return, Lincoln promises steadfast loyalty (and plenty of vigorous Jolly Ball sessions). Lincoln is currently fostered in Virginia. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
