About Grace And Willow

Make their next chapter their best one yet. Meet Grace and Willow, a devoted bonded pair of female Doberman Pinschers whose close connection shines through in everything they do. Both are currently receiving the veterinary care they need and are expected to be ready to move into their forever home around March. These two gentle souls are seeking a household committed to keeping them together and giving them the loving life they truly deserve. Grace, around 4 years old, greets the world calmly for a young Doberman. With a striking blue coat, cropped ears, and a docked tail, she is both elegant and playful. Grace enjoys outdoor playtime, fun walks, and collecting toys, and thrives best in a quiet home alongside Willow. Although initially timid, patience and Willow's support have helped her blossom. Grace loves mealtime, play sessions outside, and cozy naps during football games. While not crate trained, she does well in a puppy-proofed room with Willow when left alone and gets along well with cats and other female dogs. Willow, approximately 7 years old, embodies the classic "velcro dog" personality—she is never far from her humans or Grace. With her red coat, cropped ears, and an irresistible gaze, Willow adores being the center of attention and craves affection. Despite health challenges like arthritis, spondylosis, and hip dysplasia, Willow's spirit is undimmed; she still enjoys gentle games of fetch with her squeaky tennis ball. Like Grace, Willow is good with cats and other dogs and has adjusted well to her foster home. Willow is not crate trained, shows no destructive behaviors, and simply needs a slower pace and plenty of love. Both have lived harmoniously with other small dogs and cats, though their response to male dogs and children is still unknown. Grace and Willow are fostered in Virginia and can be adopted in MD, VA, DC, DE, eastern WV, and southern PA, through DAR&E Doberman, Assistance, Rescue & Education.
