SEEKING DOBERMAN-SAVVY ADOPTERS: THOR is an 18-month old Doberman who was surrendered to SCAS after his owner suffered a significant medical emergency. He arrived with a severe skin infection that has been treated and his handsome coat is starting to show itself. This guy is still very much a puppy, and has never had anyone show him quite how to be sure of himself. He has tested well with other dogs, if somewhat awkwardly (he clearly kind of knows how to play, but is still getting the hang of it). He would likely be good with children however he doesn't realize how big he is though that awareness will come in time. Thor has never been around cats and he is neutered. His adoption fee is $45. We know there are many dobie lovers out there who might want to meet this boy so heres how to do that: - Adoptions are first-come, first-served. Please have a valid ID/proof of address at time of adoption. - other dogs should come for a meet-and greet - Please visit the shelter; although our staff does its best to answer every inquiry via phone or email, the best thing to do is to visit in-person to ensure every question is answered - Please be familiar with the breed.
