Javier is a sweet 3 year old Chihuahua mix who has adjusted well to the busy streets of New York. Although a little shy at first, he really warms up and is the cuddliest dog around. Javier is the perfect size for a city dog and fits easily in a bag. He loooooves to sleep under the covers and loves his snuggles. He has the softest fur and the cutest ears which make him incredibly expressive. He's bilingual so he knows commands in English and Spanish. He is attentive and obedeint, and like any new dog will need a family who is patient with continuing his training. Javier does really well with other dogs and is playful with other dogs (he is good at matching their energy)! He's really great on the leash and does know how to go to the bathroom outside. Javier has a great time with his foster family's resident dog and is very sweet and gentle. Javier would love a home that is filled with positive energy, cuddles, and treats. Vaccinated for Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. Neutered and microchipped. Tested for vector-borne illnesses. Current on flea, tick, and heart worm prevention.
