About Patty O'paws
Patty O'Paws A182581 38 lb. spayed female, approx 1 1/2 years old -This lil peanut is a good mix of independent and playful -In the yard, she explored and sniffed independently -Inside she did more of the same as she likes to "check it all out!" -She enjoys pets but isn't overly needy -She's skinny and hungry. She will sit when asked and takes snacks gently -Seems interested in toys and would chase after them enthusiastically and played tug, but it was short lived. I'm sure she will be playful once she's in a more relaxed environment. -She walks nicely on leash with minimal pulling -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids *Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt *Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. *Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. *There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. *To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** *The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
