About Wharf
--FOSTER PUPDATE-- Wharf A182442 18 lbs. spayed female, approx 6 months Meet Winnie, formerly known as Wharf. (part-time goofball, part-time security system) Winnie is a sensitive soul who's still figuring out that the world isn't actually out to get her. New people can be a little scary, so she prefers a "look but don't touch" policy at first. If you respect her space, she'll happily mind her business (with the occasional "just in case" bark -- her built-in alarm system works great). The good news? She's a fast learner and very her person-driven. At home, Winnie is an absolute star. She'll play with you or entertain herself like a champ... until her battery suddenly hits 0% and she powers down for a professional-level nap. No warning. It's impressive. The outside world? Still a bit spooky. But Winnie is also curious and loves a good adventure -- she just prefers to explore at her own pace, taking it all in like the thoughtful little explorer she is. She's smart, motivated, and willing to work for snacks and love (honestly, same). So far she has mastered: * Sit * Down She's currently working on "stay" and the recall, and picking them up quickly! Once Winnie decides you're her person (it might take a little time, but she's worth it), congratulations -- you now have a loyal shadow. She will follow you everywhere like your slightly furry, very devoted bodyguard. And speaking of that... Winnie comes with some pretty great natural protective instincts. She takes her "watching over her home and people" job seriously -- even if she's still learning when it's actually necessary. Bonus features: * Potty trained * Sleeps through the night * Enjoys car rides * Gets along great with other dogs and cats Winnie is looking for a patient, understanding human who will help her build confidence and show her that the world is actually a pretty great place. In return, you'll get a hilarious, loyal, nap-loving adventure buddy with built-in security. If you're ready for a little love, a few laughs, and a lot of loyalty -- Winnie is your girl!
