Linneaeus A183518 56 lb. neutered male, approx 2 years old -Meet our resident dancing sensation--and no, we don't mean a few cute tippy taps. This boy is putting on a full Broadway production in his kennel every time you walk by. -The performance continues during treat time, where he rapid-fires tippy taps while "patiently" waiting. He can "sit" when he's not showing off his moves and will take them gently when reminded. He is just that excited about life in general. -On leash, he walks pretty nicely with minimal pulling--but don't be surprised when he hits the brakes for a sniff break or two. -Inside, he had to sniff everything like a tiny, wiggly detective. Once the case was closed, he immediately upgraded to "lap dog mode" and launched himself right on top of me for attention. -He's a bit of a lovable derp who has absolutely no concept of personal space--jumping up, leaning in, and delivering kisses like it's his full-time job. He's always happy, always smiling, and always ready to be the center of attention. -Toys aren't really his thing right now, but he's a big fan of pets, belly rubs, and, of course, applause for his daily dance routines! -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids *Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt *Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. *Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. *There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. *To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home.
