If you're looking for a playful, friendly, Velcro dog, Peaches is your gal! Her owner reluctantly surrendered her due to issues with their senior dog. Peaches loves to chill on your lap or beside you on the couch, and likes other dogs and children. The jury is still out on her opinion of cats. Peaches is 2-3 years old and about 20 lbs. Her previous owners had her DNA tested, and say she is 100% Frenchie. She still needs to solidify basic commands and to refine her potty-training, but walks well on a leash, rides well in a car and loves everyone! She is awaiting a spay date and will be available to take home soon after! Applications are being accepted now! WE ONLY ADOPT WITHIN A 2 HOUR RADIUS OF THE TRICOUNTY AREA. ***Exceptions may be made for seniors or hard to place dogs. If the animal is under the age of 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference is required, which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name. ADOPTION FEE of $ covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive. Saving lives is not cheap, so thank you for understanding and helping us save as many as possible. We only do adoptions on Saturday, and not all animals are able to attend. If you would like to see a specific animal, please let us know via email and we will try to accommodate. However, we cannot guarantee the animal will be at the event without an approved application.
