Milo is a 6 year-old Maltese weighing in at about 10 lbs. His owner took a job that required too much travel, so he was surrendered into rescue. This little guy will need a patient adopter willing to work with a big personality and knows how to read doggie body language! Milo can be a bit of a diva, so would need a home without young children. He walks well on a leash and should adjust to a forever home given some time and the understanding that he has been through some big changes! Est. WE ONLY ADOPT WITHIN A 2 HOUR RADIUS OF THE TRICOUNTY AREA. ***Exceptions may be made for seniors or hard to place dogs. If the animal is under the age of 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference is required, which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name. ADOPTION FEE of $ covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive. Saving lives is not cheap, so thank you for understanding and helping us save as many as possible. We only do adoptions on Saturday, and not all animals are able to attend. If you would like to see a specific animal, please let us know via email and we will try to accommodate. However, we cannot guarantee the animal will be at the event without an approved application.
