Conan is a senior male Miniature Pinscher mix with a short tricolor (brown, black, and white) coat, currently in Ladson, SC. He weighs about 19 lbs and is house trained. Conan is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Friendly to both dogs and cats, he still seeks the calm and comfort of a gentle home as he navigates this stage of life.

About Conan

Conan found himself back at LowCountry Animal Rescue after spending much of his life with a loving owner who recently passed away. Now more than 10 years old, he’s noticeably unsettled and nervous with all the recent changes, but he’s still a gentle, loyal dog looking for a quiet place to call home. Conan has the look of a Heinz 57 with some Miniature Pinscher in the mix, standing tall on long legs and weighing around 19 lbs. He’s happiest tucked under your arm or riding along in the car. He’s crate-trained, house trained, and walks easily on a leash. Conan is fine with other dogs and shows little interest in cats. Because he’s still a bit shaken and shy, he needs a calm, child-free home and would love to curl up in bed with his person each night. His ideal family will let him decompress at his own pace and appreciate the quiet company of a senior dog. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
