Sweet Mamba’s journey began in Azerbaijan, nestled between Iran and Russia — a place where far too many dogs are left to fend for themselves on the streets. Despite the hardships she witnessed, Mamba has held onto her gentle spirit and trusting heart. Now, she’s in search of the loving human she’s always deserved. At just 2½ years old, Mamba is the definition of a soft soul. She leans toward the submissive side and carries herself with quiet sweetness. She adores belly rubs (see video!) and happily soaks up affection, but she’ll never demand it. Her love is warm and patient, never pushy. Mamba has been tested with cats and, while curious, she is respectful and non-aggressive (see video). She has also been around children and has done beautifully (see video). She shows no food aggression and is well socialized overall. While she gets along with other dogs, Mamba would truly blossom as the only dog in the home, where she can fully relax and enjoy being the center of her person’s world. We’re looking for an active home — ideally someone who works from home, is retired, or a stay-at-home parent — who can give her the companionship and connection she thrives on.
