About Pedro
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Pedro is a sweet, happy young pup with a loving heart and an easy smile. At 6 months old, he’s at that wonderful age where he’s curious about the world, eager to learn, and ready to form a deep bond with his forever family. Pedro came to a Connecticut rescue from North Carolina with his seven siblings when his previous owner could no longer care for them. Despite this early transition, Pedro has blossomed into an affectionate, friendly boy who welcomes each new day with optimism and trust. With his unique DNA make-up—part Doberman, part Redbone, Treeing Walker, and Bluetick Coonhound—Pedro combines intelligence, loyalty, and that unmistakable hound sweetness. He is expected to be a large dog, likely reaching around 60 lbs when fully grown. Pedro’s demeanor is wonderful around kids, showing a gentle nature, and he’s equally happy romping with other dogs or relaxing by your side. His hound instincts bring out his love for exploring scents, while his Doberman side brings attentiveness and a desire to stay close to the people he loves. Adaptable and easygoing, Pedro will thrive with a family ready to include him in both their adventures and quiet moments. He’s affectionate, loyal, and eager to be a cherished member of his forever home. If you’re seeking a young dog with a kind spirit and easy personality, Pedro might be exactly who you’re looking for.
