Tanny A182602 57 lb. spayed female, approx 1 year old -This adorable baby needs a soft, patient home to land in! -She's nervous here and she is not sure what to do -She walks on a leash here and there....other times she freezes. But considering last week she needed to be carried, I would say she's improving! 😊 -She seemed to really relax when I was petting up and around her chin and neck area. She was leaning in and smiling. It was adorable! -Once she is comfortable with you she will give soft, gentle kisses -Her first instinct is to find something to hide behind but as time goes on, she will come around -She would occasionally eat a treat -She hasn't shown any interest in wanting to play yet -She could really benefit from a foster home or a patient adopter willing to help her come out of her shell -She's a beautiful gal who just needs time! -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids *Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt *Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. *Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. *There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. *To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home.
