It's been such a joy getting to know Hov - he's sweet, playful, smart, and full of love. Around 65 lbs of pure goofball, he's done well with other dogs and absolutely super intelligent and easily trainable when given attention and treats. I have been working on basic commands with Hov (Name recognition, Sit, Come, touch and place). He is so smart, learns the commands very quickly (although he has such a puppy attitude he gets distracted easily) Hov can be reactive seeing other dogs on leash and is working with a trainer on his pulling/barking in passing. He has been doing really well with training and making great progress! I have had success with paced walking and Hov has been doing well on walks as long as I have smelly treats for him and at least a 6-10 foot leash. Like I said Hov has a puppy personality and loves to play. He plays hard and is mouthy (not intending to bite or hurt), so I think a home with kids at least 14 would be best.
