About Tova
If you’re someone who values a good afternoon nap, Tova is the purring little spoon you’ve been waiting for. This affectionate brown and white cat is happiest curled up beside you, making sure you’re never alone for a siesta. Tova came into rescue after she was found stumbling as she tried to run—turns out, she has some congenital neurological quirks, but after seeing a neurologist and getting a clean slate of health tests, she’s proven herself as resilient and playful as any other young cat. Her symptoms have lessened over time and usually pop up only when she’s stressed, so a calm, quiet home works best. Despite her challenges, Tova runs, wrestles, climbs her cat trees, and enjoys every scratching post in sight. She’s extremely food motivated and is still learning that not all food is hers, so she’s best suited for a home without young kids, although older, cat-savvy children could be fine. Tova adores other cats—she always wants a feline buddy—and gets along with dogs that aren’t pushy. Spayed, fully vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped, Tova is about eight months old and ready to find her perfect match. Oh, and her birthday is June 16, making her a social, adaptable Gemini. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
