Hey there, I'm Buddy, a 48-pound Labrador Retriever mix who's still growing into both my body and the big world around me. I'm a curious, goofy guy who loves to wander around and investigate everything I can find. I'm not totally sure how toys work yet, but I do know that treats are amazing - I'll sit so nicely for one every single time! Sometimes I pace and bark when I want something or feel unsure, and I'd really benefit from confidence building and gentle socialization to help me understand that everything's okay. I'm a very sweet boy with tons of potential, I just need guidance, consistency, and a family willing to teach me the basics. Because I can get anxious when I'm alone, I wouldn't do well in an apartment unless my person is very active and dedicated to working with me. If I'm left with nothing to do, I might make my own fun by chewing things I shouldn't - so I'll need structure, exercise, and enrichment to keep my brain busy. With patience and love, I'm going to grow into an amazing companion who will happily learn right alongside you. My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society. All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
