Hi, I'm Luna, a 32-pound Cattle Dog mix with a soft heart and a gentle, sweet personality. I can be a little shy and cautious when meeting new people, so I just need a little time and patience to warm up and feel safe. Once you let me move at my own pace, you'll start to see my loving nature shine through. I came in with my friend Squirt, and while we'd love to find a home together, we can also do okay on our own. I'm a big foodie at heart, and treat puzzles or enrichment toys are a wonderful way to keep my mind busy and help me feel confident. I really enjoy playing and being outside, and I'd thrive in an active home that's ready to include me in adventures and daily fun. Sudden or raised movements can make me flinch or cower, so I'm looking for a calm, understanding family who will help me build confidence with reassurance and kindness. With patience, positive experiences, and lots of love, I'll continue to blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion who just wants to feel safe and part of the family. My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society. All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
