Hi, I'm Boris, a 41-pound Alaskan Husky mix with that classic husky personality - a little spacey, pretty independent, and full of my own unique charm. Right now, I can be pretty anxious and tend to pace, and I'm not shy about expressing myself with some husky-style whining and chatter. Enclosed or small spaces make me feel restless, so apartment life really isn't my style unless you're home often or plan to bring me along on your daily adventures. I feel my best when I have room to move and stretch my legs. I've got energy to burn and need an active home that keeps me on the go. Toys and treats don't grab my attention much at the moment, so the best way to bond with me is by taking me out for a walk and spending time exploring together. If I don't get enough exercise or mental stimulation, I could become bored, destructive, or even a little down. Underneath all that nervous energy, I'm a very sweet, spunky, and silly boy who just needs someone who understands huskies and is ready to help me thrive. My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society. All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
