About Worf

Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Worf, a lovable 10-year-old male husky mix who absolutely deserves a second chance. This sweet senior arrived at HOPE Animal Shelter after experiencing a rough start, coming from a neglect situation with several other dogs. Worf is known for his gentle nature and adorable goofiness. While he does bark often in his kennel, it's only because he's eager to leave the shelter behind and spend quality time with people. He has mostly known life outdoors with a canine pack, so the adjustment to shelter life has been a challenge, but Worf is doing his best until he finds his forever home. Worf has been a model resident and is currently overcoming some health challenges. He arrived underweight at around 50 pounds but has been slowly gaining weight with consistent care. He’s being treated for a urinary tract infection and some eye issues, resulting in one slightly cloudy and weepy eye—though it doesn’t seem to cause him any discomfort. Worf’s resilient spirit shines through, and he’s ready to bring love and happiness to a home that will appreciate his sweet, easygoing demeanor. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
