Worf is underweight for now, but is gaining steadily with care. As a senior dog, he could use a loving home where he can enjoy a comfortable, stable environment.
About Worf
Worf came to the rescue in January after enduring a rough start, arriving with nine other dogs from a neglectful situation. He’s a 10-year-old male husky mix, and even after everything he’s been through, he greets the world with sweetness and patience. Worf has faced some health setbacks, including a UTI and some chronic eye issues that doctors are actively treating. He likely will always have a cloudy, teary eye, but it doesn’t seem to slow him down or bother him. Despite being underweight at about 50lbs, he’s slowly gaining as he settles in. Worf spent his life primarily outdoors in a pack, so he’s still adjusting to indoor life. He tends to bark a bit in his kennel—he’s just eager to hang with people and feel included. He’s proven to be a gentle soul and gets along well with other dogs and children, making him suitable for a wide range of families willing to give a senior the comfort he never had.
