About Baxter
Meet Baxter, your future best friend! This charming German Shepherd/Husky mix will be ready for adoption starting June 26th. Baxter is a delightful mix of playfulness and relaxed vibes. He loves hanging out with his people, whether that’s enjoying some sunshine in the yard, cozying up on the couch, or taking a leisurely stroll. Baxter enjoys a game of fetch but doesn’t mind winding down for some quality time afterwards. One of his favorite pastimes is splashing around in water; if there’s water around, you can count on Baxter to join in on the fun. He walks beautifully on a leash, takes treats gently, and gets along well with some other dogs. While his compatibility with cats needs to be evaluated, Baxter is sweet, calm, and thrives on companionship. Plus, his adoption fee is waived for eligible U.S. military veterans and first responders through the Northwoods Humane Society’s Paws For Those Who Serve program. Baxter is all set to offer loyalty and smiles to a loving home. Could that be yours?
