Toklo is a three-year-old male husky mix who arrived alongside nine others as part of a neglect case. He’s bigger than most of the other dogs from his group and stands out with his striking tricolor coat and bright personality. Toklo is goofy, affectionate, and bonds quickly with people, though he’s still adjusting to life in a kennel and sometimes gets anxious in that setting. What really makes him happy is being outside, playing in the snow, or simply getting attention from his caretakers. While Toklo has lived with numerous dogs, he can sometimes react to other males—a behavior that may shift as he and the others settle in after being neutered. Slow introductions and proper meet-and-greets are important for any other dogs in the household. Toklo is underweight at about 52lbs, but he’s gaining steadily with proper care.
