About Toklo

Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Meet Toklo, a stunning 3-year-old male husky mix who’s searching for a loving home after coming to HOPE Animal Shelter with nine other dogs from a neglectful situation. As one of the younger and larger males from his group, Toklo quickly charms everyone with his affectionate and goofy personality. He truly enjoys his new caretakers but is finding kennel life stressful and would much rather be outdoors, playing in the snow and sharing adventures with people. Although he arrived with many dogs, Toklo has shown some reactions to a few other males in his group—likely due to the dogs not being neutered yet—so careful introductions with any resident dogs are important. With his underweight frame now gaining steadily (currently at 52 lbs), and his loving nature shining through, Toklo is ready to start a happier chapter. He would thrive in a home that offers plenty of companionship and outdoor playtime. Once settled, Toklo will make a wonderful, loyal companion for the right adopter. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
