Meet Annie (also known as Tina!) Annie is a beautiful red-ticked coonhound with the softest soul to match her soulful eyes. She’s a gentle, loving girl who does wonderfully with children and truly enjoys the companionship of other dogs. Annie thrives on connection and, once she warms up to you, it’s clear she absolutely adores her people. It’s evident that Annie hasn’t experienced much of home life before, which makes her eagerness to love all the more special. Because of this, she does have some separation anxiety and would do best in a home where someone is home most of the time to help her continue building confidence and security. With reassurance and consistency, she settles beautifully and finds comfort in being close to her humans. Annie has shown zero aggression and has a naturally calm, sweet demeanor. She is currently working on house training and basic manners, so she’d be happiest with a patient family who has some experience helping a dog learn the ropes of living indoors. She’s eager to please and will blossom with gentle guidance. Loud or sudden noises can startle her, but she recovers quickly. A quiet home where she can feel safe, loved and a warm lap will allow Annie to truly shine.
