About Jack
Jack is a striking 1-year-old Coonhound mix on the lookout for a family willing to help him grow into his best self. After being surrendered by his previous owner, Jack is understandably a bit nervous with new faces, but his playful nature shines through once he’s comfortable. He’ll thrive with someone patient who has time and commitment to devote to his training and socialization. Day by day, he’s making progress—practicing basic commands like “sit” and “down,” and his leash skills are coming along nicely. Jack can’t resist carrying a stick on his walks, and it’s become one of his quirky signatures. This young pup is full of energy and has a knack for jumping and climbing, so he’ll need a secure, fully enclosed 6-foot fence at home (no chainlink). Playtime, regular exercise, and lots of mental stimulation will be key to helping him settle and blossom. Jack is up to date on his vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped, and neutered. He gets along well with other dogs and is currently at the Freeport location in Ozone Park, NY. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
