Loki is a big-hearted, goofy giant schnauzer with all the energy and mischief youād expect from an adolescent. At about a year and a half old, heās often testing boundaries and keeps his people on their toes, but his affectionate nature makes it all worthwhile. Loki bonds quickly and thrives on attention, play, and connection. He needs formal training with his new peopleāthis isnāt optionalāso committed owners only. Large in both frame and personality, Loki will reward patience and structure with fierce loyalty. He cannot go to a home with children under 10, since his digestive system is extremely sensitive; even a bite of the wrong food can trigger issues. He must stick with his current diet and will need pre- and probiotics long-term, which run around $35 every three months. Grooming is another commitment hereāexpect it to be expensive if you donāt take it on yourself. Loki is house and crate trained, and expects to be up at 6 AM, punctual as always.
