Vega Star Litter Born 11/5/2025 Vega has a brightness about him that feels effortless - the kind of puppy who doesn't demand attention but somehow always has it anyway. Named for one of the most luminous stars in the sky, he lives up to it in a gentle, steady way that makes people smile before they even realize why. He was born to Gaia, a soulful Catahoula/Pittie mix with a grounding presence, and to a father who remains a charming cosmic mystery. The result is a puppy who feels beautifully balanced: playful without being wild, affectionate without being overwhelming, curious without tipping into chaos. For a young pup, Vega is already doing remarkably well. He's having great success with potty training, picking up routines quickly and responding with enthusiasm to praise. He's the kind of puppy who watches closely, figures things out, and then happily repeats what works - a quiet little achiever. His personality is all heart. Vega is cuddly, loving, and playful, with an easygoing nature that makes him a joy to be around. He does wonderfully with other dogs, is comfortable around cats, and greets people like friends he simply hasn't met yet. Wherever you are, he's content to be nearby, checking in, soaking up affection, and offering it freely. And yes - he's gorgeous. Soft features, expressive eyes, and that unmistakable puppy charm that feels almost unfair. But his real appeal is how he makes a space feel calmer and happier just by being in it. The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
