Rigel Star Litter Born 11/5/2025 Rigel has the unmistakable confidence of a puppy who knows exactly who he is - and is very pleased about it. Named for one of the brightest stars in the night sky, he lives up to it effortlessly, shining without trying and charming without performing. He was born to Gaia, a steady, soulful Catahoula/Pittie mix with a grounding presence, and to a father who remains an unsolved cosmic mystery. What we do know is this: whatever ingredients went into Rigel, the balance is perfect. He's thoughtful without being shy, playful without being wild, and affectionate in that melt-right-into-you way that feels genuine and earned. For a puppy, Rigel is impressively dialed in. He's already having big success with potty training, which suggests both intelligence and a sincere desire to do things "the right way." He watches, learns, and adjusts - the kind of pup who seems to quietly file things away and then surprise you by getting it right. His personality is the good stuff: cuddly, loving, playful, and emotionally open. He does great with other dogs, is comfortable around cats, and greets people like he's been expecting them. Sit down anywhere and you'll likely find Rigel nearby, leaning in, checking in, or gently reminding you that this moment could use a puppy. And yes - he's gorgeous. Striking, adorable, the kind of handsome that sneaks up on you. But his real appeal is deeper than looks. It's the calm curiosity. The steady affection. The way he settles into space like he belongs there. Rigel isn't loud about it - but he's ready for a home. Ready to bond. The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet.
