About Duke
DUKE: Lord of Fetch, Baron of Belly Rubs, and Protector of Snacks There are dogs... and then there's Duke. At a dignified two years old and a stately 60 pounds, this Labrador mix is less "pet" and more "leading man in the grand epic of everyday life." Picture a golden-hearted knight who traded his sword for a tennis ball and now roams the kingdom (your backyard) on a quest for adventure, affection, and possibly a rogue squirrel. Duke wakes up every morning like he's got a theme song playing in his head. His motto? "Joy, but make it high-speed." He gallops through life with the enthusiasm of a Labrador who just discovered the concept of zoomies-and yes, his tail wags with the gravitational pull of a small planet. He's playful, social, and has a PhD in Being Your Shadow. He'll join you for hikes, fetch, car rides, philosophical porch sittin', and Netflix binges (he prefers comedies, because obviously). When he's not conquering playtime, he's melting into snuggles like butter on warm toast. Duke gets along with other dogs through the noble ritual of Proper Introductions-he's a gentleman, after all-and would thrive with an active family who shares his zest for the good life: adventure by day, cuddles by night, snacks at all hours. But one thing this noble knight does not tolerate in his kingdom? Cats. Duke says felines are suspicious little sorcerers, and he prefers a cat-free castle, thank you very much. He's loyal. He's radiant. He's joy incarnate with four legs and a wagging tail. Adopt Duke, and every day will feel like the moment the hero finally comes home.
