Bellatrix Star Litter Born 11/5/2025 Bellatrix has presence. Not the loud kind - the kind that makes people lean in without realizing they're doing it. Named for a star known as "the warrior," she carries herself with a quiet confidence that feels natural, not forced, as if she already understands her place in the world. She was born to Gaia, a Catahoula/Pittie mix with a steady soul and a nurturing calm, and to a father who remains a mystery of the universe. Whatever the combination, it worked. Bellatrix is balanced in all the ways that matter: playful but thoughtful, affectionate but independent, curious without being chaotic. For a puppy, she's remarkably capable. She's already having great success with potty training, picking things up quickly and responding well to gentle guidance. She pays attention, adapts easily, and seems genuinely pleased when she's figured something out - a little victory dance in puppy form. Her personality is warm and open. She loves other dogs, is comfortable around cats, and approaches people with an easy trust that feels earned rather than assumed. She enjoys playtime, but she's just as happy settling in close, quietly soaking up affection and offering it right back. And yes - she's stunning. Beautiful in a way that's hard to put your finger on at first, then impossible to ignore. But her real magic lives in the softer moments: the way she checks in, the way she relaxes into your presence, the way she makes ordinary moments feel gentle and complete. Bellatrix isn't asking for much. Just a home where she can keep growing into exactly who she already is - and someone who's ready to fall a little in love every single day. The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
