About Koa
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Koa is one sweet guy! This handsome 4-year-old lab mix is ready for a fresh start. He’s still learning that the world isn’t scary and hopes for experienced adopters who can help him build confidence. Koa can be more nervous around men, so he’d love a patient family willing to give him time to settle and feel safe. Once he’s comfortable, Koa’s playful energy will keep you smiling. He’s done well meeting some dogs, but all introductions to other pets should be slow and careful. Koa is looking for a home without cats. He will likely thrive with dog-experienced teens (16+) and adults, and hopes for a quiet neighborhood ideal for sidewalk strolls. Because Koa can be sensitive to certain environments, he is not a fit for apartments or condos. He’s currently in a foster home, so interested adopters will need to arrange a meet-and-greet. By the way, with a birthday of November 30th, Koa is a fun-loving Sagittarius—he’s always ready for a new adventure! Start your journey together! Apply now.
