About Molly
Molly is a 9.5-year-old, 45lb Lab mix who has spent the last six years patiently waiting for her forever family. Originally rescued in Afghanistan by soldiers and brought to the US, she is a spirited, playful older girl who lives for time outdoors. Molly thrives on walks and adventure and has the kind of energy that defies her age. She loves people, craves attention, and isnāt shy about making her feelings knownāsheās vocal and talkative, which means apartment or condo life isnāt for her. Molly needs a freestanding home with a fenced yard where she can safely play and explore. While Molly warms up to other dogs on walks, she has a dominant streak and is quick to guard her toys and treats, so she must be the only dog in her home. She will need an adopter prepared to support her through her leash reactivity and guarding behaviorsāsomeone who understands her quirks and can uphold her training. Molly is seeking an adult-only household, either with a single person or a couple. No children, cats, or small animals, please. Sheās up to date on shots, microchipped, and spayed, and sheās waiting for someone whoāll let her finally enjoy her golden years with peace and comfort. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
