AvailableAbout Sienna
Sienna came from Texas with her siblings after Animal Control removed them from an overcrowded property. Now settled in her Seattle-area foster home, she’s showing her gentle, independent nature. Sienna likes her routines and prefers to take her time with new people, especially men. Once comfortable, she’s affectionate and calm, happy to join in for games of fetch or romps in the yard. She’s food-motivated and quick to learn, already knowing sit, down, kennel and how to walk on leash. At night, Sienna sleeps quietly in her crate and is fully house trained. She thrives around other dogs and would be happiest with a resident canine buddy. Although friendly with the children in her foster home, her shy nature means she’ll do best in a home without young kids (teenagers may be fine). Sienna has a strong prey drive, so a cat-free home is important. Her ideal situation is a house with a securely fenced yard and people who have experience with her breeds. Apartments won’t suit her needs. Sienna is looking for a patient family willing to let her set the pace as she adjusts. Give her the time and space to settle in, and she’ll return the favor tenfold.
